Liberia Direct Negotiations 2021 - 2023
Africa Energy Partners is proud to have successfully engaged in direct negotiations with the Liberian government and their respective institutions, LPRA & NOCAL as well as their seismic data brokers TGS.
As a result of all our efforts, we have received an Expression of Interest from ExxonMobil, a global industry leader. This collaboration holds immense potential for the energy sector in Liberia and showcases our ability to attract major players to invest in the country’s development.
Sierra Leone Fifth Offshore Licensing Round 2022 - 2023
In the Sierra Leone Fifth Offshore License Round, Africa Energy Partners partnered with the Petroleum Directorate of Sierra Leone (PDSL) and played a pivotal role in facilitating the pre qualification process. We are delighted to announce that three companies, including a significant ultra deep water operator, have successfully pre qualified.
This achievement highlights our rigorous evaluation process and our commitment to bringing top-tier companies to invest in Sierra Leone’s energy sector.
Democratic Republic of Congo Bid Round 2023
Africa Energy Partners recently supported the successful conclusion of the Lake Albert Blocks in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Bid Round. We are pleased to announce that we have received an Expression of Interest (EOI) from an
ASX listed Oil & Gas company which will now go through the Ministries pre qualification procedure. This demonstrates the growing recognition of the DRC’s energy potential and our ability to attract international investors to contribute to the country’s Oil & Gas development.
